- Frank Parcells has operated
an online PR firm since 1983, owned and operated an Internet
access business which he sold in 2000 to the largest Internet
service provider in Illinois, and currently operates a Web publishing and marketing communications company,
Today, he also has owned and operated an Internet service and
web hosting business located in Clarksville in addition to his
teaching
at Austin Peay State University.

- Dr. Parcells career in broadcasting
began during high school and extended for fiftenn years where
he disc jockeyed, sold, produced, programmed, and managed commercial
and educational radio stations in small, medium, and major markets
from Madison to Denver. His diverse communication career included
work as a weekly columnist for the Mt. Carmel Register-Republican
newspaper, interviewer, host, and producer for instructional
and public affairs audio and video programs and productions,
and talent for radio and television news and commercial productions.
As a professional communicator, Parcells is familiar with
advertising, broadcast media, corporate communication, Internet
technology, marketing communication, and public relations. His
book, Using the Internet, is available online. He has many national and state publications
and presentations at professional meetings, including a program
this spring in April 2008 at the Broadcast Education Association
Convention in Las Vegas, NV.
Parcells is a member of the American Marketing Association, the
Broadcast Education Association, the International Association
of Business Communicators, the International Association of Webmasters,
the National Communication Association, the Public Relations
Society of America, the Society of Internet Professionals, and
the World Organization of Webmasters. He also serves as the advisor
for the University's Chapter of the International Association
of Business Communicators and the APSU Web Design Group. He serves
as the Executive Vice President of the Nashville Chapter of the International Association
of Business Communicators.
